This is an ultrasound image through the fetal brain.   Essentially, the Biparietal diameter is measured from one side of the head to the other. The femur, or thigh bone, is the white structure located in the center of the image.  Its length is measured from one end to the other. The abdominal circumference is shown by the white dots surrounding the structure in the middle of the image.  The stomach is the black area located between the 12:00 and 2:00 positions.  The "comma-shaped" below and to the right of the stomach is a portion of the umbilical vein.
