About Dr. Applebaum
Michael Applebaum, MD is on the staff of Illinois Masonic Medical Center where he served as Director of Ultrasound, Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Section of Medical Genetics.
He was the Director of Ultrasound and Associate Director of Reproductive Medicine at Finch University of Health Sciences/ The Chicago Medical School.
He is currently in private practice. His practice is limited exclusively to Diagnostic Ultrasound.
Dr. Applebaum is certified by the American Board of Radiology.
Dr Applebaum received his B A. degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He attended Medical School at the University of Illinois, Abraham Lincoln School of Medicine. His postgraduate training included an Associate Residency in General Surgery at the University of Illinois/Cook County Hospital Combined General Surgery Program, a Residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Cook County Hospital and a Fellowship in Diagnostic Imaging at the University of Chicago.
Dr. Applebaum has been performing ultrasounds for over two decades. He is, and has been, an active contributor to the literature of Ultrasonography.
Dr. Applebaum has lectured nationally and internationally on Diagnostic Ultrasound.
